Not again
“Wait… what did I get last time?
Was that the good one?”
You’ve been back to that restaurant four times. You loved one dish, tolerated another, and swore never to order the third again. Your memory remembers none of it. Usual does.
How it works
Three taps to never forget a dish
- 1
Log the dish
Snap a photo, pick the restaurant, add a note like “ask for extra chili oil”. Ten seconds, tops.
- 2
Rate it in a tap
Loved it, it was fine, or not again. No stars to agonise over — just the answer future-you needs.
- 3
Mark your usual
Turn on “My usual here” for the go-to. Next visit, open the restaurant and you already know what to order.

FAQ
Questions, answered
What is Usual?
Usual is a dish journal for people who eat out. You log what you ordered, rate it, and mark your go-to dish at each restaurant — so next time you know exactly what to get (and what to avoid).
When can I download it?
Usual is launching soon on iPhone and Android. Check back here — the download buttons will go live the moment it’s in the stores.
Is Usual free?
Yes. The free plan lets you log up to 15 dishes with photos, create lists, and share. Usual Pro unlocks unlimited dish logs, lists and photos for heavy eaters-out.
Who can see what I log?
Only you, unless you choose otherwise. Every dish can be Private (just you), Link only (anyone with the link), or Public (shown on your profile and in Discover). Lists can be private or public.
What happens when someone opens a link I shared?
If they have Usual installed, the link opens straight in the app. If not, they see a preview of the dish, list or profile right here on the web, with a button to get the app.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — from Settings in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, dishes, photos, lists and follows.
Your next favourite dish deserves to be remembered.
